Lives as a freelance visual artist in Würzburg. Regular exhibitions and art projects. Member of BBK, Berufsverband Bildender KünstlerInnen Unterfrankens as well as GEDOK, Gemeinschaft der Künstlerinnen und Kunstfördernden e.V. and VKU, Vereinigung Kunstschaffender Unterfrankens e.V.
On the wings of fantasy
Conception and guidance of artistic cultural education projects in co-operations and/or in her own studio. Initiator of the participatory art project „Tischgespräche. Talking to each other about art and the world.“ Since 2024. co-founder of the group „Treibstoff-Kunst. Creative team impulses“. Since 2015 Participation in the International Mentor Artist Training at the RCM, Royal Conservatory of Toronto, Canada. 2006 to 2012 Lecturer for LTTA, Learning Through The Arts, Centre for Teacher Training and Educational Research at the University of Würzburg. 2010 to 2012.
Setting off for the big city
Born in Schmalkalden. School years and Abitur. 1986. studied painting and graphics, art education and German language and literature at the University of Erfurt. Graduated with a diploma. 1986 to 1991.
Great emotions in turbulent times
In the midst of political upheaval. 1989 and 1991. Marriage and graduation.
From painting smock to costume
Trained as a bank clerk in Schmalkalden and Meiningen. 1991 to 1993.
Degree in business administration (FH) in Frankfurt am Main. Worked in banking from 1993 to 1998. Until 2000.
Free art and maternal happiness
Birth of son. 2000. move to Würzburg. First art studio in an artist community.
From 2001.
Colour experience
Regular exhibition activities. Individual and group projects. Establishment of her own art workshop with a differentiated range of courses and collaboration in the mobile art workshop JUKU-Karawane e.V. in Würzburg. Since 2002.
